How many "sidekicks" ever finished 3rd in MVP in their careers? That probably is an elite list.

Off top of my head, of people on title teams: Davis, Curry, Wade, Kobe, Pippen, Drexler, KAJ/Magic, Havlicek. Is there anyone else? Probably not. It is extremely rare to have a "sidekick" of that caliber.

Gasol, Pierce, Parker, Dumars are more typical of the median type of players who are "sidekicks" on title teams.
