Has anyone else ever done that more than once?

I think OP means finals. Bird didn't lead them in any categories in the 86' finals. He also had a 15 PPG finals in 81' but you could argue that because Maxwell wasn't the 2nd option.

If it's finals, then that's a different. Bird did lead him in rbs, asts and stls in the 86 finals. Mchale lead in pts.

I don't think there is another person who lead them all in each category except for Magic in 87. I don't know any one on to top of my head that might surprise. LeBron might be the only one other than Magic. At least from the top of my head. Wait, Duncan in 03.

I know hardly anything of 70s b-ball tho. I only watched a couple of games of the Bucks.

Were teammates getting nearly as much in those categories though?? Because that's the definition of a shared load..

Otoh, Jordan completely carried the scoring load, and shared the secondary categories like lebron does ALL the categories (except ball-dominant assists that reduce TEAM assists and ball-movement)

Good catch. I was thinking leading the team but you are right, Bird was ahead of McHale in those other categories except scoring.

To do it you have to be a strong all-around player. Havlicek comes to mind for the 70's but he was the 2nd option to Cowens. In 74' he led Cowens in points, assists but not rebounds.

So MJ only lead his team in scoring whilst LeBron had to lead in everything?

To me it sounds like LeBron carried a bigger load

Jordan didn't share other loads. He was completely outloaded by Pippen in everything but scoring.

He would have more rings if he sacrificed a little.
