mikes best carry was in 96 when pip was outscored by opponents #2 option by 14.6%
pippen 15.7
payton 18.0
payton scored 14.6% more (mikes only carry, all other finals pip scored more)
wade 22.6 ppg
russ 27.0 ppg
russ scored 19.5% more (bran carried bigger ppg % then mikes only carry)
we win again thanks for pointing it out
:dancin :dancin
mikes only carry, won against 14.6% #2 deficit
brans only carry, won against 19.5% #2 deficit
another one
so bran has the better carry for ppg deficit and better carry for full playoff run ppg
2012 finals for ppg %
2013 wade for ppg playoff run
ITS WINS FOR THE BOIS

Rodman was arguably the FMVP (he got some FMVP votes) over Jordan and had an even stronger case over Kemp. I would go MJ, Rodman, Kemp but this is revealing nonetheless. 96' is one of the series MJ stans point to as a "carry job" and he had a teammate getting FMVP votes in the same series. Only MJ stans would cry "carry job" in that context. :oldlol:
For example:
Teammate Luc Longley: "I thought Dennis did everything to win the MVP. He was sensational. Without him, there's no doubt we wouldn't have won tonight."
Seattle Coach George Karl: "Dennis Rodman won them two ballgames in this series. Game 2 and tonight, he was the reason they were successful. We controlled Michael Jordan for the most part in the series. We put him on the foul line a lot {where he was 11 for 12 on Sunday night}, but without that he had a pretty mediocre game."

The other site had a poll on this. 41% said Rodman should have been FMVP. https://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=1291915

You're saying it's hard to win when your 2nd option gets outscored by the opposing 2nd option, but how about when your 1st option gets outscored by their 2nd option?
That's what Kyrie did to the Warriors, therefore making it impossible for the warriors to win
