View Full Version : Why couldn't LeBron push KD-Warriors to 6 or 7 games like James Harden?

In 2016 NBA Finals, LeBron came back from a 1-3 deficit against GSW.

However, GSW added KD into their roster & LeBron got swept or gentleman swept.

Many argues KD-Warriors is the most talented team in NBA history.

But somehow, James Harden took the very same KD-Warriors to 6 or 7 games in playoffs.

His supporting cast is nowhere close as good as KD-Warriors or arguably even 2017 Cavs.

Do you think it's a blemish on LeBron's legacy that he couldn't challenge KD-Warriors like James Harden could?

2019 Rockets is more apt comparison to 2018 Cavs.

That 2017 Cavs is better than 2018 Rockets.

If LeBron was up against KD-Warriors, then yeah for sure.

Because he didn't have AD, LA's leading scorer, to bail his ass out :oldlol:

I don't know. Why did a 65 win team play them a lot closer than a 50 win team? It is shocking stuff.

How about this?

BOS vs. DET 4-3
BOS vs. MIL 4-3
BOS vs. CHI 0-3

Why couldn't the GOAT go to 7 like Terry Cummings did? That's how this works, right? If a lesser player did it then surely a much better player should have done it, because teams don't matter.

Have you noticed no matter the context they seem to always omit the corresponding info for the other side?

Is this the reason why espn gave the thunder a 0.2% chance of clinching a playoff spot this year after he was sent to the said team in exchange for wb

Why are we still giving Harden credit for something CP3 did?

TheCorporation

CP3 is leading teams to the playoffs in the West, meanwhile Kevin Love can't even get a 10 seed in the East :lol

In http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?486623-LeBron-Jordan-Teammates-Game-Score-Share-Comparison-(Each-Finals)/page7 I took their obsession with PPG and applied it to MJ stan darling Stockton and guess what their response was? We can't judge players by PPG. We have to look at their total impact, look at the other things Stockton did, etc.

Name one time you ever saw them say any of that for Pippen, Rodman, or Grant.

They miss this completely with LeBron because he just does more than Jordan.

Has more food on his plate to finish.

If you told LeBron just go get 35ppg every night that's exactly what he did in 2018 playoff run.

It only matters for non-scoring opponents of MJ I guess--which is a long list. Who scored on the Bulls on the other side with any degree of volume and efficiency? Barkley, Kemp are probably it. Worthy was solid but got hurt. Drexler, we know that story. KJ choked. Payton was 18 PPG on 44%--a performance MJ stans would lampoon if done by a Bull. Stockton? Did nothing in either finals. Malone? Terrible efficiency loss (especially for a PF) in 97', better in 98' but Stockton and Hornacek didn't show so it didn't matter.
