Yeah getting a ps5 is much better. You can even almost buy 3 for the iphone's price.

I will be getting the iPhone 12 mini also. I need an upgrade, basically ran this LG phone of 5 years into the ground and it is barely working some days. It will be my first iPhone but not my first Apple device. I have an iPad Pro and it has been solid since the day I bought it. I really like that they have been recently going back to the smaller form factor for their phones, I never needed a big phone and it’s exactly what I am looking for.

I'm still team Android for the foreseeable future

I will be buying neither since I want privacy.

I'm going to buy those Linux phones. I like there is a kill switch for the camera and for other intrusive apps.

It can privately run Google apps and we don't need to rely on Google anymore. They are just too big to be operating everyone's phone. Apple too.

Nice to have an alternative.

I've heard their chargers will be sold separately. Is it true.

Recently got a new battery in my 6s. I see no point in upgrading

I wanted to try iphone back then but without a 3.5mm port, no slot for external storage and ever going up srps despite having omitted them are deal-breakers which also made me too appalled to buy one for myself.

I'll be getting it for my wife for Christmas because she has the X. My XS is holding up solidly but her battery diez quick.

I got the Pixel 5 and will get the PS5.. if I can't find one available to buy :facepalm

Moving from P2 to P5, 3 year cycle. Got a charger so it doesn't **** up the USBC like it did with my P2 and case.

How much was it? The battery in my P2 is awful right now, and I was thinking of giving the phone to either my mom or aunt. If it's $50-100 to buy and install the battery (or can I do it myself), I'd much rather do this.

i feel like more people are wising up and skipping the yearly upgrade trap, but let's be honest, they'll just increase the price to make up for it. $2k phones incoming sooner than expected.

Damn, that's pretty good. I'll do that then before I give it to one of my relatives

I was thinking of just changing the battery on my XS and keeping it for another two years.

This icloud shit, if I run out of physical storage on my phone will the icloud give me more space?

Android for life. But I don't upgrade to the newest every year. Maybe every 2 years, I'll pick up a 6 month old phone. As I see it, they are removing features that I liked along the way, because why not remove something and sell it as a feature method that apple has been doing.
