The fact that the entire nation is preparing for protests and looting seems to suggest that they suspect Trump is gonna win... after all, we have yet to see any mobs of angry right-wingers show interest in looting businesses or anything in that vein

Meh. Only a handful of liberal shitholes will see "widespread" rioting and looting. Places where the police are ordered to stand down. Most places allow police to do their jobs and that tends to discourage such mayhem.
