On Kobe:
“I think the closest player, to me, was Kobe — in terms of his intensity, his athleticism, his burning desire to win. And, like Michael (until he went to the Wizards), he played on one team his whole career.”
On MJ and Today's Era:
“I said this publicly, I think he’d average 60. I think he’d shoot 75% from the floor… I don’t think the talent today is nearly as deep as in Michael’s era. Today, if you ask me how many superstars there are in the NBA today, I’d say four or five. In Michael’s era, there was probably 25.”
On Superstars Teaming Up (shot at LeBron):
“If you ask Jordan tomorrow — did you ever want to play with Bird and Magic? He’d look at you like you’re on crack and say ‘not a chance in the world. I loved those guys, but I wanted to kick their butt, every single night.'”

#1, Falk was not the best agent for MJ. Falk represented Jordan for his entire career and MJ was underpaid for almost all of it.
In Kobe's case the comparisons to MJ are not a compliment, because he embodies all of Jordan's worst attributes, being disguised here by Falk as "burning desire" and "intensity" when it's really just selfishness and bullying.
LeBron never played with his era's Bird and Magic either, so that comment was dumb of Falk.

In terms of playstyle, yes. But when it comes to all time ranking, MJ is #1 and Kobe is #12 consensus, its not that close at all.

Insecure f*cks like you always use the "playstyle" thing as a crutch when you know DAMN WELL that's not at all how Falk meant it. :lol Probably still salty Kobe passed on wanting to play for your sh*t franchise in the armpit of the US. Stay triggered, beetch.

He is the closest to Mike, and was arguably as skilled.
I make the comparison all the time, but Prime Kobe, anywhere from '01-10, was basically Mike after 95. Not as strong or athletic but based on production and skill, they were pretty similar.
