If you put cca 2010 Dwight and Rondo together as the teams two stars and surround them by decent personnel, do they win? Dwight was more relying on postups back then but he was dominant. And Rondo was one of the best defenders in the league.

No, worst combo ever

Prime Rondo had no jumpshot

People would just back off rondo and double up on dwight

Dwight's prime has been with great shooters. Look at that magic team... great 3pt team that allowed spacing

Is OP a gimmick account that secretly hates D Rose?

Yeah but he couldnt win with that team. Something was missing. Have a creator like Rondo feeding him and the rest, could have been the right formula.

They were what, 3 wins away from a ring? They were a formidable team. But what does this post have to do with OP? My point still stands. Dwight is better with shooters, not poor shooting pgs.

No, Dwight isn't as good as KG. You would win the title if you upgrade from Pierce to Kawhi.

So you build around Rondo/Kawhi/Dwight in their primes and they win yeah. Dwight isn't a 1st option, so you need to throw Kawhi in there.

Unless 7'1 Windhorst is on the other side in which case.....yikes.

No, that still wouldn't have been enough imo.
