Jazz had a run where they faced the Bulls (warriors of their time) and never added bigger better pieces. The Bulls were impossibly stacked compared to the Jazz

The only real superteam of the 1990's was the Jordan/Pippen/Rodman Chicago Bulls.

Teams probably didn't have the flexibility. The league was headed towards the 1999 lockout. Jordan was lucky to play for Jerry Krause and to play in the 90's.

Late 90s Lakers have Shaq, Van Exel, Eddie Jones & Kobe

Signing Rodman was a gamble, though it turned out well in the end. No one wanted to sign him because he's a ticking time bomb

back then, top players wanted to be the one to deliver a chip themselves, unlike today with the masssive collusion to make it easy

Collusion started in 2010.
