As soon as our new president is elected, it’s gonna feel like brighter times for the country are ahead. I feel like now we are finally starting to round the turn. We can go back to not only a normal world but a better world. Biden is gonna eradicate the virus. It’s gonna be like a miracle.
Woo hoo!!! Biden and Harris to beat the virus!

They have one of the largest study done last September with 5,000 genetic sequences of the covid that reveals the virus’s continual accumulation of mutations, one of which may have made it more contagious but all the new strains are not deadlier. Lockdowns will only be necessary if the new strain like the 2nd wave of Spanish flu and start killing young people . I don’t foresee any lockdown but stronger protective measures like national mask mandates will most likely be implemented to mitigate the impact.
Treatment have been better as far as decreasing mortality rate especially with Dexamethasone in combo with Remdesivir, Convalescent plasma etc. I would think we won’t return to normalcy until there’s an anti viral that makes the virus susceptible or the vaccine for a passive herd immunity, whatever comes first.

Biden isn't god.
No but he will at least probably get to meet him within his 4 year term

Technically, the virus will never go away no matter of which political party is in the power. It will stay around among human or other animals and continue to mutate.

yup - it's already spread amongst the population. even with a vaccine, it's not 'going away'.

Tell us the clinical significance of this number.
I'm guessing the headline you read didn't mention that we've also recorded the highest number of tests conducted and the virus has hospitalized less than flu, did it?

Tbh - we stopped hearing about how crowded hospitals are with covid and deaths..
Wtf?

COVID-19 hospitalizes at a lower rate than flu. There is no hospital crisis.

Trump still has more than 2 months in the office before he steps down to his successor. What can he do about covid for that period.

Push Herd immunity. Prove that eugenics work. And reach that ghoul. When you have 45 % of the population have comorbidities and over 40 percent are obese , something has to give.
But nah, don’t let politics get in a way. He should just let science fine tune accordingly.
230 K lives and still counting are lost in his watch.
Hard hit on his legacy.:(

Trump's strategy to follow Fauci has led to ~65,000,000 infections in the US.... luckily it hospitalizes at a lower rate than flu.
We have to follow science and data - not Rooster.
No need to push herd immunity; "Because of its virulence, wide spread and the many asymptomatic cases it causes, Covid-19 cannot be contained in the long run, and so all countries will eventually reach herd immunity." ~ Prof. Martin Kulldorff, Harvard, and most importantly, correct.
Herd immunity/resistance is real. It is the main reason the daily deaths with COVID decline. You and others who deny it are the flat-Earthers of society.

LMAO. :oldlol:
You’re stupidly unintentionally funny .
Kulldorff is good cherry pick by AIER for gullibles like you.
He’s a mainly biostatistician who’s working hard to be an epidemiologist in this pandemic.
Look at the Journal of Epidemiologist
Fauci have 720 of published research work with 64676 citations
Give me Kulldorff stats?

I know CNN has taught you to obey the face of Trump's Task Force, Quack Fauci, but he's been exposed time and time again for being 100% clueless.

Kulldorff, one of the top scientists in the world, could be a family practice physician for all I care; what matters is he is led by science, data, and common sense - the exact opposite of Rooster's insane, pseudoscientific, selfish, immoral, and destructive ideas.

The main reason why deaths are down is because we know how to treat it now. In the beginning there were many unknowns, now we are more familiar with it.
Or because they reduced mass testing as well.

There is some truth to this. New York was following CCP guidelines that told them to put everyone on a ventilator; many died because of this.
Otherwise the biggest reason deaths decline is herd immunity/resistance.

More likely. Remdisivir and Dexamethasone along with Convalescent plasma has been a good combo and FDA just approve the recent LLY antibody treatment. WHO though have a research study that none of Remdisivir or Hydroxychlorquine work in reducing mortality rate. Dubious about their Remdisivir findings since China was not granted a patent and it’s manufactured in our country so we especially Trump administration stacked them. NIH is more stringent with their process anyway.
