Who do you think is the better basketball player? I have to go with Alex Caruso. Caruso is a better offensive player.

Definitely Matthew... but if you consider how they perform to what is being ask from them, i will go with Alex.

Caruso is much more athletic. Way stronger, quicker feet laterally, speed, brakes.

Much better defender.

Delay has him as a ballhandler and as a passer in the pnr. Not on much else.

I shouldn’t even know this much about either tbh. LeBron effect

At first I thought this thread was sarcasm.

Out of 30 nba gm's, 30 would take Caruso over Delly without giving it a second thought.

It's coincidentally weird that both of these guys were undrafted by the time they joined the league.

I think most people would say Alex Caruso, but Delly deserves some propers because the way he showed up in 2015 to fill in for Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love was kind of amazing.

Dells rode with LeBron as the Cavs took a 2-1 series lead. The Aussie had 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in game 3 of the 2015 Finals. Yuge!

Delly actually had a good, consistent playoff run in general, putting up 19 against Chicago and 17 against Atlanta, etc.

All of those numbers surpass Caruso's best effort from the playoffs this year. And Caruso's best stat line from the 2020 finals was 10 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists.

So don't sleep on 2015 Delly. That guy was impressive.

But alas impressive Delly didn't stick around very long, but that doesn't negate the fact that he did exist for a minute and that perhaps he was even better than Caruso had been for the Lakers in the playoffs.

Perhaps.

I never doubt the grit of an Australian or Kiwi.
