View Full Version : It's easier to produce w/ equal-scoring teammate to attract equal defensive attention

11' Wade, 16' Kyrie and 20' AD matched lebron in scoring all year and lebron only averaged 2-5 more than sidekicks in his 4 successful Finals (10-20 for MJ in his 6... and 10-30 more than sidekick in every series of career)..

Lebron's equal-scoring sidekicks attracted equal defensive attention, therefore making Lebron's stats easier.. Whereas MJ's carry-jobs faced 5-on-1 defense from his main rival, aka "Jordan Rules" and opponents doubled constantly against the bulls' 1-man scoring distribution..

Despite jordan's tougher defensive coverage, he still had the #1 production rate of all time, aka BPM, PER, WS/48, VORP seasons, PPG.. Here's a thread with detailed stats and video about Jordan's double-teams vs Lebron's:

Maybe MJ should try averaging more than 2.3 APG in the Finals before he complains about his teammates' scoring.

No mention of LeBron's assist totals during these victories vs that of his sidekick. I wonder why. :lol

why do you continue to do this 3 ball?

this whole forum is a bunch of delusional children that think a guy that stiff arms his way to the basket is the GOAT

it's never gonna change, just like how these idiots can't see they're being played by the democrats. Nothing will change, no matter how many threads, no matter how many food stamps get passed around. Nothings gonna change.

Democrats back lebron.. they're responsible for the WWE collusion league we call the NBA.. they destroyed organic basketball (best brand) and turned it into AAU (best recruiter wins)

Because assists are a secondary stat and also a team decision to let 1 guy dominate the ball (nash, lebron, cp3), or move the ball (curry, tony parker, mj)

Also, MJ led the Bulls with 6.0 apg in the Finals, while doubling his sidekick's scoring average

No comparison

that's exactly right, now once again I ask you why do you do this?

no matter how correct you are on a ton of the stuff you post, it's not gonna make these morons go "hum ye i think he's right"

personally I don't need all the analytics, you just watch people play and should be able to tell who can do what. People like jordan, wade, Tmac idk how anyone can watch highlights of lebronze and then watch them and come to the conclusion that lebronze is better.

He can't cross over worth a fck, he has no spin move, his post game is a joke, he can't even shoot a fcking hook shot... so if he can't do any of this stuff, and yet these dumbasses still think he's the goat.. nothing you post here will change it.

Except, if you actually watched the games you would know that nobody in the entire league has a spin move like LeBron. It's actually been talked about on this site alot.

Yet, here you are saying he has no spin move. Once again you have been exposed for being a moron.

Lebron uses the same spin move over and over with no variety, and the same shot OFF those spins

It's nothing compared to Jordan's

Lebron can't spin as effortlessly or suddenly as Jordan.. or either way... Or in thick traffic as well as Jordan... Or as many ways.. or double spins...

And then MJ took a million types of shots off those spins like hang-time jumpers, up and unders, and crazy hangtime layups/shots

Lebron's basic, robotic spin is nothing by comparison

Why can't anybody stop it then? Every time I see him do it, it's pretty much an automatic 2 points. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

You can't be serious. LeBron looks like he's falling each time he spins. There's nothing graceful or skillful about that. If the argument is, "he manages to score" then I agree. But to couple that with "he has a wide array of moves, including a graceful spin move," then I'm not sure how you're seeing that at all.

Wrong again. #8 is Shelvin Mack. He only had 1 personal foul in that very game. He just got finessed by LeBron.

It's towards the end of the 3rd quarter, he has 1 foul in the game so far, the last thing he is thinking is "I better not get in foul trouble".

Ok.

And you also agree that in addition to doubling pippen's scoring average, Jordan averaged more assists than pippen, while assisting 33% more often (28 to 21 assist percentage)?

MJ took more shots and can't assist on those shots, so his assist percentage was higher than Pippen's... They both averaged 5-6 apg but MJ did so on fewer available shots.
