Anyone excited about the draft? Any expected quick impact players & teams?

Literally no. Might be the first year ever none of the players have impressed me much, although I haven't exactly studied them in depth at all.

I always love the draft and the trades that happen between the teams. However, this year I feel that the prospects are not as highly-touted as usual. Maybe it's the pandemia situation or just that the players available don't look as good as in other ocassions.

this draft isnt great. could definitely see a mid lottery guy being a the best player a few years from now. wiseman seems like the safest pick while lamelo has the highest ceiling but both he and edwards have bust potential. minnesota and gs could both trade down

The only player that seems interesting is Ball, but that is because everybody got an opinion on him and it will fun to see if they need to swallow their owns words or can say "I told ya so"

Might end up being the worst draft since 2000 where Jamal Crawford, Kenyon Martin and Michael Redd were the best players.

Everything about Wiseman screams "high-floor" to me. He doesn't have a history of lower body injuries, he seems to like playing basketball, and he finishes above the rim. He has the physical and athletic profile of a Javale McGee. Imagine Javale with even an average bball iq.

Anthony Edwards is the only truly exciting one.

Yeah I felt like Wiseman and Toppin looked like they'd be good pros, but seems like they've mostly been slipping in mock drafts so idk

Completely forgot about him. He looked real nice in HS. I wonder where he's projected.
Hoping the Hawks gets Isaac Okoro with the 6th. Marcus Smart trajectory

Saw comparisons to Wade which is very lofty expectations...
Yes, agree with majority sentiment. Not as much interest in the draft this year. Might be some good trades but even rumours seem less?

edwards has issues however. has some motor and shot selection issues and is very streaky. He's also gotten wiggins and waiters comparisons

When the hell is the draft? It's so freaking late, why didn't they just have the draft after the finals?

Almost everyone seems to think he will end up being a bust.

Yeah he's nice too. Jalen green went the g league route. Im assuming he's in the draft but i dont know. I usually follow college hoops but this year if f*cked so i barely know half the draft class.

I think in about a week but not seeing the usual information. Eg. Measurements from the draft combine or x aced or flunked a workout...if they even had them with covid?
Imagine draft aspirants getti g covid. It would cost them millions!
