The Knicks should pick him up, he gets carte blanche to do whatever he wants, the Knicks get a marquee name and potentially make the playoffs. Win/win

Kind of a shame, he was playing some of the best basketball of his career before COVID delayed the season. Not really sure what kind of value the Rockets can get for him though.. he's gonna be 32 and is still a headcase.

Both Westbrook and Harden want out, they say.

I don't blame them.

I agree with the Knicks sentiments. Something about it just seems right. It might bring some life back to the franchise and RW has the gritty mentality which fits with our Knicks memories before they become a joke. Let the collusion begin.

Or the Bulls. At least they should want him.

He should go to the team he originally showed his loyalty to. Or at least the team closest to Seattle.

Go get him Golden State!

Westbrook curse, stay away from LakersI vividly recall Lakers fans campaigning hard for Westbrook and Kevin Love and the years following for Paul George. all LA natives that turned down Lakers in FA. good thing Lebron and Davis made Lakers look attractive again. imagine being stuck with a Westbrook, George, Love superteam

This 1.4 ppg in high school averaging geezer literally looking at every new development from a "how can it be used against LeBron" perspective.
Keeps mentioning the Rockets missing Danuel House, who averaged 6.5 on .385 shooting in the first two games against the Lakers, as the reason the Rockets lost.

Lakers knew those losers couldn't elevate that franchise and would have made them look even more like a joke franchise (at the time)

Seems like Harden and Westbrook aren't getting along, but if they are and they both end up wanting out then the Bulls and Knicks should literally offer everything for them. There assets aren't good enough to get Harden without offering to take on Westbrook's contract. Getting Harden with Westbrook doesn't just make them a interesting team, but also a team that could potentially go deep in the playoffs, which these franchises haven't had for years despite constant rebuilding.

No one wants to live in Houston, that's a fact.

No one wants to play alongside Harden, that's a fact.

No one has ever won coached by D'Antoni, that's a fact (No longer applicable, but still a poor franchise move)

But none of this matters because according to Shams, 'James Harden is locked in for the season' ready for a first round exit.
