What good teammates did Iverson, Kidd, and Dwight have when they won the East?.. Were they better than 22/9 Jamison (2-time all-star), Mo Williams (1-time), Zydrunas (2-time ), along with all-defense Varejao and role players Shaq/Delonte/Hickson/Parker???
1-star teams were routinely winning that conference... yet lebron failed as a giannis-like favorite in 09' and 10', so he started team-hopping

From one Legend to another. LeBron cemented as 1, Kareem 2, and Jordan 3.

That's my list anyway. I'm sure most other people feel the same.

Everyone has Jordan as goat, even Isiah who wants revenge on mj
Because people know history - before lebron joined multiple star teammates, he was the same as Iverson, Kidd and Dwight with 1 Finals run in a weak conference.
So he doesn't "make everyone better" because he can't do anything without them either - they elevate him to championships... And yes, Jordan had pippen but that's just 1 star (not 2 like lebron had).... and Pippen didn't lead Jordan statistically like AD did Lebron
Lebron averaged 26 on 35% against Boston in 2008.... Then he was one of the biggest favorites ever to lose in 09'... and he quit and lost as the favorite again in 10'..
So he couldn't get it done from 08-10' as the favorite, and therefore started colluding..

This. 6 Finals losses as a MVP player is the most all time.

MJ might not even be top 5 when we unpack all the details.
1 is clear consensus LeBron
2 could be Kareem or Russell so we'll say 2 and 3 are taken
4 could be Bird
5 could be Magic
6 is...Jordan? Or Duncan? Who knows
But if this was LeBron's closest competition then...

Not just the most of all time, its by far the most. To think that, there aint another MVP winner with even 5 finals losses, the second places are tied with 4. Leffoat is a runaway winner when it comes to, well, runner-ups...

This.
Jordan is no longer undisputed #1.
30% of the population has LeBron as #1 and that numbers grows as LeBron career continues.

So what type of Consensus are we working with these days?
1. LeBron
2. Kareem
3. Russell
4. Bird
5. Duncan/Jordan/Magic/Wilt
Anyone disagree at this point?
