View Full Version : The coronavirus is a terrible thing that has happened

It’s weird because when we think of covid, we don’t even think of the disease all the time. We think of how it has affected everyone’s lives. For many of us, no Thanksgiving or Christmas. Maybe you haven’t played ball or seen friends in a long time. Things were opening up and my favorite coast-side restaurant was starting to have hundreds of customers again both outside and inside. And now it’s closed all over again.

What I’m saying is this is a terrible thing that has happened cause it affects pretty much everyone no matter how rich or healthy you are. And to make matters more intense it has to occur on an election year and we still don’t have a conclusion to our election.

What’s really bad is we don’t feel like we have control. And we don’t know how much longer this will last. Biden’s advisor says we may need a 4-6 week economic lockdown. So you get this doom feeling like that they want to do this to us forever. Even with the vaccine it feels like they want to still control us.

In some ways I like to stay home and take a break from people but at the same time I don’t like being controlled this much and not seeing an end in sight. Some of us go out but there’s always tension and an uneasiness in the air. You feel like you’re not supposed to be out.

I mean it’s gotten so bad that if you were into escorts or strippers, you can’t even see them. You’re not even supposed to date. Who wants to virtual date? I’m sorry but Zoom is not that fun.

I also heard if you don’t take the vaccine then you lose all rights to go anywhere. Now that is some control.

Lol it's not the coronavirus that's a terrible thing that happened. It's actually this year itself; 2020.

Can you elaborate?

As long as you follow usual protocol; wearing masks in public, keeping distance when possible, and washing your hands with soap or good disinfectant, you should be fine doing essential stuff outside and meeting smaller group of your family and friends in person. The risk will still be there but it should be low enough to not affect you.

I have already been in lockdown in Canada and it wasn't that bad. You still can exercise around you home, watch TV, read books, play videogames, shitpost on ISH, etc. Also, porn is always available if you can use the Internet. But if it is not enough, you can save your urge for now and go all out when things get better.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why it's simply one of the worst years in this century.

It shouldn't take a rocket scientist to explain why the coronavirus isn't a terrible thing

it's a blessing that we have the powers of the wondrous intranets and especially the ISH forum and fam to get us all through these adverse times
