A 'two party' system is absolute bullshit. First past the post voting is absolute bullshit.

An expanding federal government is absolute bullshit.

Give the power back to the states. Decentralization is the future... it was our nation's past, it worked, and we have strayed further and further from it... with some positive benefits of course, but more detriments... give the power back to the states. Then people like AOC can go ahead and do whatever the absolute **** they want on a local level and the people she represents can be happy until their desires backfire and explode in their faces in spectacular fashion.

Centralized power is too incredibly susceptible to corruption and bad faith actors. An expanding federal government is not good BECAUSE POWER SEEKING PSYCHOPATHS EXIST. GET IT OUT. And sure, they do it at the local level also... but it's a lot easier to reach out and 'touch' them in that scenario... and local politicians are far more likely to follow the local citizens desires. National politicians just do whatever the **** they want.

Defund the police is a stupid slogan but the two political parties have always had a hard time appealing to mainstream America while keeping the extreme wing of their party happy. This is nothing new.

There is no extreme wing of the Democratic Party. AOC’s policies are mostly just based on common sense and decency (besides guns, she’s bad there).

Marxism/communism doesn’t work. The larger the group you have operating under communism the more authority those running things have to have. The more authority they have the more likely they are to abuse that authority to get more privileges or goods than others.

By the standards of the mainstream AOC is on the fringe. This is not about what I think is right or wrong it's about what mainstream America will tolerate. The majority of the country is not comfortable with socialism. Yes, there is already plenty of socialism in our government but people don't identify it as such.
