32 years old - Swept in the 2nd round with HCA while being defending champs, averaged 23/3/2
33 years old- gentleman swept in the 2nd round by OKC
34 years old- missed the playoffs while having 3 teammates who made the all star team a season earlier (Dwight, Nash, Gasol)
35 years old- missed the playoffs
Now compare this to LeBron at 32-35 :yaohappy:

Missed the playoffs at 34? Kobe is the one who dragged them to the playoffs in 2013 then injured himself after playing every game a lot of minutes for weeks. And after that injury he was never the same.

Kobe's legacy will take a huge hit if Durant bounces back from his achilles, as multiple other stars also have

Kobe has always hovered around top 15 status. If Kawhi wins an MVP or another ring he overtakes Kobe and the same goes for Kelvin Durant, it's a close race for top 15.

They were only the 9th seed after the last game Kobe played that year. Gasol/Dwight had to win the next 2

No excuse, hes just not that good, theres a reason why hes the consensus #12 greatest player of all time. The month of Kobe is coming soon though, the month of December, just a reminder.

If you're asking a Kobe diehard they'll tell you it was always someone else's fault... Dwight Howard, for example. Maybe Nash's injuries. Maybe the commish for basketball reasoning the Chris Paul trade.
They disregard how Kobe's personality regularly sabotaged his teams.

Kobe didn't teamhop like LeBron did in his late 20s. If most great players joined then recycled star talent, rinse and repeat, they would also "thrive" in their 30s. :confusedshrug:

2010 Kobe'.... 22 PER... 4.5 BPM
2010 Wade.... 28 PER... 9.0 BPM
So lebron teamed up with someone better than Kobe, and then added a Pau-like player in Bosh... aka Lebron teamed up with Kobe/Pau 2, but proceeded to be a perennial Finals loser or underdog for 3 of 4 years

You're right. He only demanded to be traded, had his other star teammates traded, etc.:facepalm
