Booker has improved vastly every year, becoming a better all around scorer, facilitator and even defensively - still not an elite defender but he's made some strides. I truly believe he would have made a nice run in the bubble playoffs. He's clutch af. His mid range game is reliable as well and difficult to guard.

Ayton's defense has become much better and he has proved the doubters wrong. CP3 would be running some nice lobs to Ayton that would be difficult to stop but it's a simple and consistent play that would help tremendously when the shots aren't falling. Ayton is a great rebounder as well, another inherent value that may seem so small but would play such a large part in playing winning basketball during the playoffs.

CP3 still has a lot of elite level game left in the tank, the biggest concern with him would be his health. Still a tier 1 facilitator, and tiers above Rubio as a shooter.

Gallo would be an excellent fit on the same court as Booker, having an elite scorer such as Gallo along Booker would put increased pressure on the defense.

Mikal Bridges - average 3pt shooter but his tenacity on defense is alone enough to play. Does all the small things that don't show up on the stat sheet.

Without going into too much detail bc this is not a detailed analysis, I'm trying to convey that this proposed team has the collective talent to win a chip, on paper.

There's a reason the suns went 8-0 in the bubble, they are a young team on the cusp of making the push to become a lower tier contender...think of the nuggets from previous seasons. But if you add serious talent like CP3 AND Gallo...you're catapulting them several tiers ahead. But also, we play better without Oubre as evidenced in that 8-0 run.

Yeah, once Ayton is a for sure 2nd option to Booker I think the team will be "relevant". I just dont know how long that will take. He has the skills and the body and he's getting better every year.

owner sucks still, but he made a good move in hiring james jones. still up in the air how good james jones is, but he has displayed to be a good GM that is more cautious then risky. the new front office looks competent, including the coach. a lot to be happy about and look forward. i'm pretty sure if ayton wasn't out for like 30 games, we may have barely made the playoffs. expectation is to make it next year even with the current group.
