The Olympics will be in August, right? In this case, there should be enough time to fetch a team going there, just whoever end up in the finals may be given a pass to drop out.

They will need at least a few weeks of preparation so they would have to put together a team by late June. We will be in the conference finals by then. Not sure if teams just eliminated from the first two rounds want to immediately start training for olympics. I wouldn’t be surprised if this years squad will be mostly second tier players. I imagine any superstar that plays in the playoffs will want to skip the olympics for ‘load management’
