Of course elections can be rigged. Not just 2020, not just 2016, not just Presidential elections, but everything down to elections for the town dogcatcher. The companies that make voting machines have succeeded in being able to keep the inner workings a secret and the software proprietary. What that means is that good guy hackers who obey the law can't analyze them for any security loopholes, while bad guy hackers can get into the software and the firmware and exploit any weaknesses they find. And let's be honest, these privately held companies are never going to voluntarily come forward and admit that their machines have been hacked.

Not that I expect Trumps legal challenges to the vote count to amount to anything. Anyone with the technical skills and physical access to alter the software of a voting machine can just as easily roll the software back to its original state once the election is over, leaving nothing to be found.

Russia rigging an election or Russia meddling to influence an election result are two entirely different things...maybe you are too feeble minded to distinguish between the two but there really is a difference. Nobody ever claimed Russia changed votes from Clinton to Trump (they did try hacking but were unsuccessful).
