In this what-if rather than Wilt blowing his knee out in the 9th game of that season West is rather instead the one that gets hurt during that game and afterwards has to miss most of the season for the Lakers as a result.

Therefore with this in mind how do you think the rest of the season changes for the Lakers compared to the one that they had in real life. With the now healthy Wilt taking West's role as the main offensive weapon and superstar for the Lakers that regular season and year.

I can see Wilt being forced to average 40 points a game which I feel as if he would be able to do as through the first 9 games of that season Wilt was averaging close to 35 a game with West taking touches and shots away from him. Therefore, no West means Wilt being forced to average even more points for the Lakers that year to make up for the loss of offensive production that came usually from West every night.
