Skywalker is one of the most underrated TALENTS ever in the league.
Was probably the size of Russell Westbrook and even more athletic than him.

Absolutely true. I was into thinking of putting him at #11 just to increase his total votes.. but I decided to stay true to my ranking (which I always take ABA into account).

Says Ray is overrated but puts Manu at #2 ...
If anyone is overrated, I think it's Joe Dumars here.

Yeah, love Joe D but he's not top 10. Maybe before 2000 but once that decade of great shooting guards hit he dropped a notch or two.

Not even. Before 2000.
Jordan
Drexler
Gervin
Pistol
Monroe (1 vote so far ...)
Sam Jones
Sharman
Greer

That's just the 8 from the 50 Greatest List.

Than from his era Miller and Richmond and Sidney Monroe.
And Thompson, Goodrich, Westphal, Scott from previous eras.

That's the trick when it comes to comparing guys like Jones, Sharman and Greer from totally different eras. For me, in terms of my experience guys like Jordan and Drexler from his era are obvious and inarguable. Pistol and Gervin were before my time so I rely on available footage for eye test, testimony and stats. Ditto for Moncrief, Thompson and Goodrich. Mitch and Reggie have been hot topics lately in terms of their pecking order.

All that said, wherever you feel Joe ranked before 2000, when you had a decade of Kobe, Wade,Tmac, Vince, Iverson, Ray, etc only a few guys historically were protected from that avalanche.
