People must forget that Lebron and Rondo were never friends. They are frienemies. The respect level is being champions and incredible IQ and passing.

Rondo going to the clippers would stabilize the offense but don't count on him for the first half of a season. Rondo is a luxury item that's nice to have but he can't or won't want to play full 60 games a season.

Rondo has said he couldnt wait for one day to play with LeBron because they would never lose a 4 game series. I think Rondo stays unless its a huge overpay but Rondo said last year he doesnt care about paydays, he wants to win rings.

Schroder is a scoring point guard, but a point guard nonetheless. He plays with the ball in his hands. His addition essentially squeezes Rondo out. Any you've still got Caruso, too.

Yes, Lou Will and Schroder are both scoring guards, but there's a difference.

Lou Will is a 2 guard. He doesn't run the point. He plays off the ball primarily.

Schroder is a point guard. He brings the ball up and runs the offense when he's in the game.

The only point guards on LAC right now are Pat Bev and Reggie Jackson, who's terrible.

Rajon was getting paid $2.6M by the Lakers in 2021 to stay.

Atlanta paid him 3x as much at $15M/2, or $7.5 per year. He obviously won his second ring and was looking for a payday. When you make Rondo money there is a big difference between $7.5 and $2.5 million. Not everyone is a business mogul like LeGoat.
