The league was starting to catch up in 2019 anyways. Once KD left the Warriors were in the best case a handful of teams with championship aspirations. Problem now is all the core players are all at the age where being a year older( north of 30) isn't really a good thing.

Definitely. I was one of the few saying they were done once kd left and everyone said i was nuts. It was an easy call then now its a foregone conclusion

The identity has to change. Wiggins, Wiseman, Green are defensive minded guys so the defense potentially can be great. Kerr has to change the identity to transition and defense focused team and get Curry altering his game a little.

It was already going to be tough when KD left and everyone had to get paid (Curry, Klay, Green). Once you pay everyone huge money, its really hard to fill in the rest of the roster and have sufficient depth.

Unless their #2 pick becomes a star really quick, its going to be really hard to compete in the west. I cant see a team with Curry and Green as your 1st and second best players making a serious run at a ring.
