I know most have written off DMC but I like to believe. Any rumours? Warriors return? Nets?
Who are some other major free agents unsigned and rumours.
Assuming DMC is healthy and not signed by the lakers.

Cousins isn't a major free agent
I think houston needs a new center atm

Thought of others: Carmelo? Basically any free agent signings that could change the championship odds significantly?

Love to have Cousins on the Celts.

I expect the Sixers to bring Nerlens home in the coming few days.
However if something was to fall through they would be stupid not to pursue DMC for 1 season. The Sixers still need some degree of back up center now Horford is gone.
Morey ain't done yet so I would rather not comment till deals are done but this would make a whole lot of sense depending on the asking price.

Cousins is still a starter in this league. His skill level is off the charts.

Who do you say are the top five centers in the league right now in order?

He is no longer considered a big name.
Perhaps only 1-2 seasons we can arguably call him a star, and it was 3-4 years ago.

The Lakers were excited to get the benefits of his "skill level", but he got injured before the friggin pre-season. I lost count on how many times he got injured now and had to skip the rest of the season. Good luck to any team that takes a chance on him. I wish him the best, but he is almost certainly done.

Getting injured has nothing to do with how skilled you are. Actually when you have that skill you can live with the loss of athleticism. Cousins is still young enough and its possible that the injuries were just random, so for a mid level team (say Blazers or Wizards) he'd be a nice 16/8/4 type of starting center.

He might put up numbers for someone still. He put up numbers before and all it meant was a lot of losses

Getting injured can absolutely effect your skills. Its why older players get considerably worse. There skills dont get worke but they don't have the same speed and explosion that allowed them to maximize their skills. Cuz never had much of that to begin with but what little he had was instrumental in maximizing his skills. Now he has absolutely nothing. This has effected his game and skills tremendously. Cuz is done bruh.

Yes its not as if he played with four other players on the court

and he couldn't carry them. He always had a lot of hype and put up big numbers but he certainly hasn't ever shown he's a winner and that was before the injuries

Exactly. At full strength he wasn't a winner so wtf is he at half strength? This is borderline crazy talk.

At full strength though he was the number one option. If he accepts being a role player, then he could definitely help a team for 25-29 minutes a game. He was actually pretty good in his limited time in GS.

Cousins better start watching some Derrick Coleman highlights if he wants to stay in this league

Coleman stayed in the league on pure talent. It certainly wasn't because he was putting much effort forth

I would take Cousins or Willie Collie Stein on clippers if they are ok being backup center at about 20-25MPG. Will need somebody to replace Harrell.

I agree with that. He could definitely be a solid role player or big off bench. Dont see him being a key piece to any contender though.
