Good player but he's only going to be Embiid's back up. Even less compatible than Horford was offensively. Great post defense and rebounding all game long though.

Howard wants more money. Philly wants depth. Howard should improve any team he joins. He's just not a good team in terms of getting the five best players on the floor.

Thanks but he got 2.5m for 1 year - which is the minimum plus not a good situation to show his value. Could be a bad locker room in Philadelphia again. Maybe they trade Embid now?

If he went to say Dallas, he could shine next to Porzingis and Doncic lobs.

What I understand is that Howard wants money over everything so he went to the team who offered him the most money. And the Sixers get another big man to come off the bench.

Nerlens would have required more money and a longer term deal.

Seems like a smart move considering the circumstances. Morey knows more than anyone else on all the details.

Let's see how it folds out. But yeah, I remember the Knicks not using Mozgov at all, dumping him in the JR Smith trade and then him becoming an interesting asset in Cleveland dunking LeBron's lobs. Afterwards, he was traded somewhere and I never heard of him again.

Even if money was the same I’d take Dwight over Noel. Too clumsy with shit hands. At least Dwight knows how to finish. Much better rebounded as well. Noel has him defensively

He did solid in Charlotte without Bron. 16-12, now if you want to argue if it translated into wins? I’m not here for that. Dwight has some issues one being lockeroom cancer label, shitty screen setter etc. He’s not dependent on Bron. Maybe he’s dependent on needing to be spoonfed anything offensively. He’s a backup at the end of the day. 18-20 (at best) and sit down.

No, both Lakers and 76ers offered veterans minimum, which would be the same amount I believe. It's just Lakers took too long to get back to him because I guess they were looking at other options. Dwight/his agent didn't wait and rushed to take the 76ers deal, which I don't understand. Maybe Dwight felt hurt & unwanted because Lakers didn't get back to him right away with official offer
