That's true, but the Lakers roster 3-10 was very unimpressive, weaker than most championship teams in recent memory.
Ty lue is taking another L with this as usual

He is learning from the mistakes the moron Pat Riley made with regards to the Miami Heat's 2013-14 season roster, when he thought that Michael Beasley would fix all the Heat's issues, which were obvious even though they won the championship the previous season.
And even though this Lakers team are champions, they have obvious flaws. The lack of a consistent third scorer being the most obvious one. Just look at their top 3 leading scorers from the finals, along with their efficiency:
1. LeBron James: 29.8 ppg on .591
2. Anthony Davis: 25.0 ppg on .571
3. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope: 12.8 ppg on .377
The gap between 2 and 3 is HUGE. And the signings of Schroder and Harrell are great moves to improve this flaw.

Exactly my thought. I was bit surprised to see him add so much offense at the detriment of the defense. I hope they keep KCP or Bradley to keep some of the defense intact.

People fleeing from KaWhit.
Harrell finally saw what true leadership looks like.

Weren't they supposed to three-peat while they were still favorites in the league or something like that? Sad the team had to come up short for that quest.

They had flaws yet in the end they still came out on top and became the last men standing. It can't be overlooked that no series went to seven games along the way. Also, don't forget about vogel. He's a good coach. Now the replacement players they're acquired recently should suffice.

You mean LeBron.
This was all part of the plan.
What WASNT part of the plan was winning last year before they could fill out their team.
