It’s actually pretty hard to say LeBron was better than Kobe in 2007 lol. Kobe has great arguments for 06 and 08 too. Bron from 09-14 and 16-20 is all better than any version of just about anyone though.

Peeps forget that up until 2012 there was no consensus on who was better at the time. Suddenly calling Lebron miles better is revisionist history. He's better IMO but Kobe was an incredible player. I'm not sure that 2020 Lebron being better than say 2009 Kobe is a slam dunk. That version of Kobe played in a slower league with arguably less help and still put up very impressive stats in a title win and played better defense. Lebron is better but not by the margin some people on here think. They are also very different players which makes comparisons somewhat difficult.

The gap between any top 5 player and top 15 player all time isn't that big...

'09, '12-'14, '16-'18 & '20

I'd only hesitate on '10 & '11 because I feel he was still lacking in intangibles, leadership, and the mental aspect of the game (esp 2011) and '15 because his jumper was broke AF

I’ll give you 06 but 08 bron was a monster . That’s the year he was making every pg in the nba look like a 6th grader with the chase down blocks

I think since 2009, his MvP winning season. Kobe was better from 2003-2008.

I don't think he has any argument for those seasons. Impact wise, guys like Wade and LeBron were overall more impactful than Kobe in 2006 as they just impacted the game in a lot more ways. Kobe was basically a gunner that season who played zero defense and wasn't being a playmaker. Yeah he scored a lot of points, but it's not like these other two weren't great in that regard either while being far superior in defense and playmaking. Also, LeBron led the league in 06 and 08 in bpm and vorp while posting a +10 +/-. It's hard to argue with that.

How many seasons did lebron have elite jumpshooting skill, goat pure-scoring ability, and goat on-ball/off-ball versatility to fit with anyone and win with just Bosh (I mean Gasol)?

Um no. 88 - 93 Jordan is BY FAR the best player ever.

Reg: 33 ppg, 7 rpg, 6 apg on 53%
Playoff: 35 ppg, 7 rpg, 7 apg on 51%

3x MVP
3x Finals MVP

Kobe > LeBron: 2004 - 2009

2010 = Wash

LeBron > Kobe: 2011 - 2016

It’s that simple honestly. Anything before or after is irrelevant.

08-09 to present with the possible exception of 2019 simply due to lack of health.

16 seasons. You forgot 2005. 27/7/7 on 47% in LeBron's second season? Kobe could play 100 years and never do that.

It's difficult to say when prime Kobe was, but since your question "as good as" posits about skill, the answer is probably zero since LeBron has never had as much skill as Kobe did at the apex of his skill.

LeBron has had seasons where he helped his team as much as Kobe did, though, like 2008 and 2009 Lebron, so I guess he's had two seasons that were as impressive.

How? He played OFF the ball. And 6-7 rebounds as a guard is very good. Just stop.
