LeBron just won a chip. What ceiling? Someone explain. Can a team go further than winning a chip?

Anthony Davis led the entire NBA in playoff scoring

the entire NBA, not just lebron

Pair him with most elite perimeter players and he chips

So again, lebron needs AD or 2 stars and is therefore a talent-based winner (due to inferior brand)

The ceiling is winning chips. That’s a low ceiling

Lebron needs extreme supporting talent to win though

Because his brand is poor

LeBron went back to back. Warriors never won 3 in a row. By your standard LeBron did cultivate a dynasty (Miami)

AD was 7th in playoff scoring in ppg.

He's won all of his titles without having a sidekick as good as Scottie Pippen. Your argument is poor.

It's his style of play, which is ball-dominant, but it fits perfectly with today's league and he hasn't lost a significant step yet.

AD is better than Scottie dude. Specially in the playoffs.

Lebron went 0-1 against Dirk, 1-2 against Duncan, 1-2 against Durant and 1-3 against Curry in playoffs, theres something about this fact. Clearly bronball does have a low ceiling, hence why his finals record is abysmal. But of course, if you make the finals enough often, you are bound to win some chips from time to time. Its impossible to build a dynasty with Lebron though, you cant 3-peat with him nor can you win 3-4 titles in 5-6 years with him.

Truth.

But to be fair, Lebron does lift his teams floor higher than almost anyone in history. Which does make him an ATG.

Yeah, bronball is perhaps the best at raising the floor of your team. If you have Lebron, your chance to make the finals is significantly higher, but you have to withstand the fact that you are most likely an underdog in each finals series. You win titles by trying as many times in the finals, with a low success rate but if you are there enough often, you will win at least 1-2 titles.

This.

Plus collusions.

But LeBron didn’t have any all stars in 2016?

And beat a 73 win team

He did have Kyrie right?
Just because they didn't play in the all-star game, doesn't mean they aren't 'stars'. Don't be mentally dishonest dude.

Is there such a bonus stated in contracts that would say, "if you don't make the All-star team or All NBA / All Defensive team, but still referred to as a star by fans..... you'll still get your $________ bonus??

AD was 7th in playoff scoring in ppg.

AD was #1 in playoff points

So AD led the entire league - that's what lebron needs, or 2 stars

So lebron sucks compared to Jordan
