Probably not, but tourists do.

I got a pair of Harrod's boxer shorts on a family trip to London when I was 12.

Good times.

Grinding true wagyu beef into sliders or burgers should be met with a shotgun blast full in the face. F*ck Gordon Ramsey.

This. Ground beef made of good quality red meat and good quality beef fat is better than wasting beef made for steaks or even sashimi.

I'd rather go to Five Guys and get a bunch of burgers than get that $106 hamburger

At some point it just becomes all about conspicuous consumption and showing off how rich you are than actually worrying about the quality of the food. Like that place that put shaved gold leaf on their hot dog and then charged $2300 for it. Nobody ordered it because they like the taste of gold leaf. They ordered it to show off how rich they were.

I hate that dumb shit where they make something really expensive by putting edible gold on it. That's so ****ing stupid.

Harrods is the most famous department store in the UK, so while it's an actual tourist destination, I would GUESS lots of locals go there too since it has so much in it.

funny how age sometimes changes perspectives.

when i was young, i probably would had told the whole world that i ate a $106 hamburger like it's some grand life achievement.

but now, I would literally be embarrassed af to be seen ordering and eating something like that.
