I never got why they didnt make him change to a standard jumpshot, ya know, where you don’t twist your wrist around 90 degrees. Even if he never practiced it, it would’ve probably gone in more. That picture looks like he’s grabbing a rebound that ricocheted hard and fast off the rim.

he's a great athlete who was used to just scoring off his athleticism... NBA standard though he was no longer holding any big athletic advantage so his poor shooting skill was exposed.

He is really only useful to defend bigs. He can guard on the wing but not against quicker guards. Basically just a scrappy guy who can defend 3/4's fairly well.

Do you really think NBA teams ignore this most obvious flaw? Every player is always working on shit like this. It isn't easy drastically changing your form while at the same time becoming a better shooter.

The following players will be in their rotation: Elfrid Payton, RJ Barrett, Julius Randle, Mitchell Robinson, MKG, Austin Rivers, Dennis Smith Jr., Frank Ntilikina, Kevin Knox and Nerlens Noel. The only one of those players you could call decent from 3 is Rivers and he isn’t amazing there.

knicks truly embraced tanking this year and I kind of like it. better than what detroit or charlotte did. more spacing would help barrett and robinson develop but i think they'll trade randle before the deadline. you did forget toppin and burks and they're fine.
