I feel this distinction needs to be made because a lot of fearful fans are worried about Finals records and winning or losing in the Finals when usually these people are fans of players that either: Don't even make Finals to being with, or, they did not make more than 6.
Plan and simple for these folks, don't be worried about a Finals loss if you can't even get there. It's like those guys worried about paying taxes on a huge lottery payday they haven't even won yet. And don't worry about Finals losses when you're 1-9 in the 1st round. Focus on winning in the 1st round before worrying about winning or losing in the Finals. You're not there yet.
