Who do you say are the most underrated players in the NFL?

And... what is underrated about them?

Feel free of course to name current NFL players, but if some retired player truly deserves a mention then go for it.

Frank Gore maybe? Hes currently 3rd all-time in rushing yards and if he can play another season or two he might be able to overtake #2. The only active RB that is remotely close to Gore in career yardage is AD... but unlike Gore, AD is (rightly) considered to be one of the greatest RBs of all time.

Some people would probably be surprised to learn that Kirk Cousins is 6th in all-time passer rating. Not that passer rating is a perfectly accurate way to measure the skill of a QB, but the guys in front of him are 1. Mahomes, 2. Watson, 3. Rodgers, 4. Wilson, 5. Brees.... not a bad list
