The world is seeing a pick so good it will become another bust in the future

Jordan's track record hasn't been great in the first round, but I think LaMelo will prove to be the best pick of the 2020 class.

Will Hayward stunt Melo's development?

He's a late grower so he'll need a couple years to get strong

Jordan will need to stick with him because I don't think he'll dominate until he's physically strong enough to..

I could be wrong and maybe he'll dazzle right away but I think it will just be flashes.. but those flashes will be more than pretty enough to show that his ceiling is higher than his brothers

I think Melo will get a ton of assists on Hayward 3's.

Agree. He could stand to gain 30 easily.

Whatever your opinions are, there's very little chance that the hornets will clinch a playoff spot next year.

Hayward only shoots open shots so yes he will average around 18ppg but he won’t score when you need him to

I disagree. They finished 6 games out of a playoff spot last year and made a pretty big upgrade with Hayward. With him healthy, and Melo off the bench they have a reasonable spot at 8th.

I used to think LaMelo looked decent, but the fact that he was drafted by someone who picked Kwame Brown at #1 makes me think that he sucks in reality.

A lot of his weaknesses are correctible.

He will become a better consistent shooter
He will get stronger (Trust Lavar and his fitness team to do that)

He has a stronger offensive feel than Lonzo.

This is definitely possible, but IMO speaks more to the weakness of the 2020 draft than it does to LaMelo's potential.
