Whose "legacy" makes a bigger jump? :confusedshrug: Assuming they're not Robert Horry rings and they come by playing at ~superstar level

MJ. Because that means LeBron doesn’t further his goat lead

CP3 because his career is a joke as far as winning. If he were to lead the Suns to a title this year for instance he would have a massive legacy boost.

Harden would have a boost too but at least he led his team very very close to a title in 2018. Honestly I think Harden ends up as a top 30 player regardless. He would move up a few spots but not dramatically as Paul.

Anyone with credibility has Jordan > LeBron. Your contrarian ship has sailed.

I agree that Paul gets a crazy boost, but calling his career a "joke" is hyperbolic. Objectively he is a top 5-8 pg ALL TIME with the numbers and impact to back his play. He can be overrated for that reason too although you're doing the inverse here. With Harden, I think he'd challenge Wade/West had he won in 2018 tbh. Great scoring feats, checks out analytically and with the eye test - adding a FMVP and/or ring erases a bit of that "soft" narrative.

You have a better chance of hitting a million dollar lotto. Chris is paired with the career loser Devin Booker. Harden can't make up his mind on which point guard he wants to play with (Paul, Westbrook, Wall).

I would say it benefits Harden more because he has the MVP\scoring titles and he's younger.

Lebron needs an organic ring more than anyone needs a ring

Harden had better stats than lebron the last 3-4 years but simply didn't team-hop for a big 3 or the playoff scoring leader

So what's your take on Chris Paul?

Ditto

He would have multiple chips if he had that 3rd star like lebron, or the playoff scoring leader as a teammate

but he didn't collude, no no rings like pre-decision lebron... but CP3/Wade/Bosh would've 4-peated easily

It's funny though because everyone is under lebron's spell.. I bet cp3 doesn't even think in those terms but he should.. it's reality

Almost equal.. But it has to be Harden.

CP3 is point God, who is accepted as an all-time great without a Ring, considering (1) the injuries that happened usually in the Playoffs, either him or his teammate is reasonable enough for him not to win one (2) him being considered the "Stockton/Magic" who never had his "Malone/Kareem" really hurt his chance to win at least one.

Hard to disagree with Paul winning with Wade/Bosh. Paul is a ball dominator, but unlike LeBron he can shoot and is a better playmaker. Miami would function a bit differently with Paul running the offense. Tough to say who benefits more between Harden and Paul though, which is why I posed the question, but in "ALL TIME" lingo Harden might out-edge Paul because of MVPs.

He's had a few chances (2015, 2018 etc) but I agree with the posters mentioning LeBron. Had they continuously stacked the deck like he did? Can't imagine them ringless.

Ah yes, CP3 would have done better than Lebron in Miami. Makes total sense.

You wouldn't qualify, so I get why you're emotional. What is your take on the OP? Paul or Harden? :confusedshrug:

You’re on an alt because you’re terrified to post on your main account due to Lebron winning, and you want to talk about credibility?:oldlol:

You're an alt calling someone else an "alt". Answer the OP and quit deflecting, nerd.

Harden has more room to grow his legacy so him. No ones putting cp3 over magic Oscar curry even with a ring. Most who gave isiah ahead will keep him ahead so he likely only moves up a spot or two. Also at this point cp3 isn’t winning a ring as the best player while harden can and that matters legacy wise
