...all while Rose is better in points per 36 minutes, FG%, TS%, PER, VORP, and (lol) games played in the last two seasons. And somehow Wall is still a star while Rose is not. Media brainwashed these cats:facepalm
and don't tell me he's a better defender, hes been a bum on defense since 2017.

It's almost like John Wall signed this extension after having a career year in 2017. He was never worth the supermax, but he was extended before his injury riddled 2018 and 2019 seasons he didn't play half the season in. Also, there are degrees when it comes to bad defense and Rose is clearly considerably worse. Let's also remember, that Wall is capable of being a good defensive player if he wants to. Rose is just plain bad, period.

Youre exaggerating as usual. Rose is a very capable one on one defender. He doesnt turn it on very often but in the clutch hes always been a stopper.

Because Rose was tired of waiting til September/October for a team to offer him a one year deal. It's tiring. Detroit offered him a multi-year deal & some stability. It was attractive to him.
