If you are using median income as a measuring stick, then you need to replace "probably" with "don't" for the second half of that sentence. My cumulative passive incomeS is almost 2x the national median income, and I also work full-time for self-employed active income.

Well, I’m probably not a communist in the way you’re thinking of. I’m an anarchocommunist. As to why, some form of anarchy strikes me as the only really fair and just system. No one deserves to have power over anyone else. We’ve been conditioned to think that. As for the communism aspect, I’m sick of money’s influence on the world. **** money. Get rid of it. U.S was settled for religious freedom (aka against the british traditions) and the government was decentralized (aka not a nation, but a union of "sovereign" states)

So yes, it was literally founded against those said values. Tradition isn't static. Culture defines tradition and the colonist were against the new rise of the church in the UK. Also hence I said "founded" whether it changed later on that's different. When the articles of the confederation and the constitution were written, they were both secular, against central authority and clearly established the union as that, a union
