I have booker as my #1 chance to get it .. he’s gonna get the easiest shots of his career with cp3 and with the suns being competitive, it’s going to force him to play big games on a huge stage with long minutes

Next I think harden ... I didn’t think anyone could beat Kobe’s 35 ppg season without being talented enough to break 81 so I still see a chance but harden still plays too iso to get to that without literally taking 40 shots

Next ..Steph curry .. no klay .. human torch can light it up for one game and break it . I never doubt this guys heat up

KD cause he’s KD .. best scorer ever ( design wise ) a 7 foot crossover dribbling shooter was a cheat code in video games until he existed .

Last one is a random but hear me out .. AD .. I can’t explain how but it seems like he is due for a unreal season . I think everything we seen from him so far is about 65% of his true potential..

Who do you guys thinks would get it ?

Kobe's 81 was payback to Jalen Rose for purposely injuring him in the 2000 Finals.

Zero chance anyone in the league has a chance to get 81 besides Harden.

I’m thinking if anyone it would be booker. It has to be a young electric star who is on a struggling team because that’s the only situation a young player would have the green light to score on every play. Even then I don’t see it happening

Who cares his legacy is already set. Dropping an 80 point game at this point would hardly improve it.

Doubt anyone gets over 81.

His 30yr record though (still current to this day and counting) for missing 30 FGA in a game for will probably be safe for a long time. He's also got the 2nd most missed FGA in a game which is 28. Plus the record for most FGA missed for a career in NBA history.
