The way I was being used, I felt like Doc was trying to play me as like a Ray Allen or like a J.J. Redick, all pin-downs. I can do it, but that ain’t my game. I need some flow. I need some mixes of pick-and-rolls. I need some post-ups, just different touches. And so it was just – that last season was just hard overall.

Exactly what I saw. In the height of the PG13% stuff, I was defending him saying he’s just a role player in a team this dumb and unskilled as playmakers.

Lue will get the most out of this combo. The Clippers are gonna sneak up on everybody and be scary come playoff time. I should put money on them. Even though they have the dumbest roster construction ever. Reggie Jackson, Lou, and shamet in the same rotation. Yuck.

we overuse the word choke in sports

paul george absolutely choked his ass off in game 5, 6, and 7 of the conference-semis last year.

He's right. Doc should have parked him on the bench in games 5-7, not played him.

Shamet, J Green, Harrell were all moved this offseason. All the garbage pretty much is gone. The only garbage left is Lou Williams. I fear playing Lou\Kennard in the same rotation but besides that they are pretty set. Beverly is still a bitch for a point guard but Kawhi's passing gets better and better every year, so they should be fine.

Agree, Doc forced PG to hit the backboard. Doc also trained PG to be brickmister during winning time.

Now Doc will do his magic spell on deadeye Ben Simmons.

Doc has blown three different series when he was up 3-1. Was it George's fault for the other two as well?

Doc River's response to not making adjustments was "My assistant Ty Lue didn't either" what a ****in retard, you blamed your assistants for not making adjustments? wow.

Hes right though, Doc Rivers is just a mere average coach who wad carried to a title in Boston, and funny hes already the best black coach in the league.

Whereas Lebron made Frank Vogel all of a sudden a very good coach. BTW, check PG’s team record in the playoffs. Did any of PG’S teams even won 3 games ? Ah, those coached did not use him correctly I bet.

PG seems very fragile despite the act he puts on sometimes

He got lebron'ed br Doc (turned into a play-finisher) - that's the death of a great many spotty-shooting ball-handlers or forwards like Ingram, Hughes, Jamison, Love, Bosh, Pippen - they all cratered next to Lebron

Two things I always notice about PG
- very unlikable as a dude
- first ballot, hall of fame b*tch

I'd like to see your stats on this, because they definitely don't stand up to the data I've found.

His % of possessions and a PnR Ballhandler for the past 3 seasons:

2019/2020: 32.9%
2018/2019: 24.5%
2017/2018: 25.2%

He did drop off a little in terms of volume of Isolation plays this season:

2019/2020: 11.4%
2018/2019: 13.4%
2017/2018: 11.5%

However, this doesn't represent a relatively significant drop-off, especially when taking into consideration his increased usage as a PnR ballhandler.

In total, here's his percentage of plays run as a lead ballhandler for the last 3 seasons (spoiler - it actually INCREASED marginally this season:

2019/2020: 44.3%
2018/2019: 37.9%
2017/2018: 36.7%

With this in mind, could you elaborate on your basis for saying that he's been forced to become a 'play-finisher'?

Honestly, I kind of agree with PG on this one. You just don't say it in public...
