so don't tell me the bulls would be a 50-win team in the 90's without Jordan because they wouldn't make the playoffs in 89'

If Jordan misses "the shot", the bulls are lottery instead of Finals contenders.

and without Jordan, the bulls don't even make the playoffs that year or any year, so they don't face Cleveland or anyone

They lost because they were playing Jordan ball. They literally had to take the ball OUT of MJ’s hands to win.

Who said that?

It's statistical fact and historical record

The 89' Bulls won 47 games and would've missed the 45-win playoff cut without jordan's 33/8/8..

So they were a lottery cast that jordan made a Finals contender that same year..

But without Jordan, they're just a lottery team in 89' and heading nowhere

Winning 55 games is easy according to 3ball.

Jordan could not do it for 6 straight years until Pippen matured in 1990.

As in...who said anything to the contrary?

Jordan is legitimately the most overrated player ever. Bulls 93: 2nd in offense, 6th in defense (106.4), 57 wins. Bulls 94 without Jordan: 14th in offense, 5th in defense (10.2.7...massive improvement after getting rid of the dead weight) 55 wins. 96 Spurs: 9th in offense, 3rd in defense, 59 wins. Spurs in 97 without David Robinson: 27th in offense, 29th in defense, 20 wins. Now there's a real all time great.

Nah with phil taking over they'd be fine. The only argument that could maybe be made is that pip dosn't become pip without learning from mj but we really don't know what that outcome would be so we can only go with what we know. What we know is bulls were still pretty good without mj.

Alot of mj stans won't. Mj and bron stans are in some serious denial about a few things. Can't tell them nothing

In 1994, the entire league saw a big decline in DRTG, so the Bulls' 6th ranking didn't change from 91-93' (7th, 4th, 7th)...

Since their defensive ranking remained the same but their offense plummeted, the decline from 3-peat dynasty to 2nd Round was due entirely to the loss of Jordan's goat offense

Btw, Jordan and Kobe invented the footwork needed for someone to score big in the triangle - think about how skilled that is - no other perimeter players could score a lot in the triangle because they lack the footwork - so it's great that the triangle maximized role players, but it's still a 2nd Round offense without Jordan or Kobe to score a lot WITHIN THE OFFENSE - if they dominated the ball like harden or lebron, then it wouldn't be the triangle anymore, so the goat footwork/skill was needed to win rings in the triangle..

Every 3ball thread just ends up with 3ball getting curb stomped by your garden variety LeBron fan.

Since Oct 11.

Every day. None stop 3ball keeps losing. I wonder how other MJ stans are thinking about this. It must be sad for them to see their hero lose every argument.

Most of them seem to have similar tendencies tbh. They don't even watch basketball after the 90s and have never actually been good at playing basketball. Some never even made actual shots in their life if they did throw up uncoordinated retard-esque bricks mind you. Never stepped on a court and faced an opposing team, let alone had to play strategic basketball or felt the heat of the moment close game situation. They just wanted someone to worship. Quite bizarre when you think about it.
