"that's the best we've ever seen..."... says lebron fans
2/4 with Kobe-Pau 2 = goat
Being a sidekick is goat
No all-defense is goat
half the rings in 15 years is goat
5 less ppg on less efficiency per possession is goat
Sounds like propoganda

OP in 2014
he's nowhere near the level he was in the 2007 playoffs versus the pistons where he scored 25 straight points, or in 2012 against the celtics when he dropped 45 in a dominant performance.
anyone that says he is still at this level is in denial.
he'll never be at that level again and will never have games anywhere near this level against good teams ever again.
somewhere around 27ppg where teammates don't play to their capacity - this coupled with no defense, and getting spanked by the good teams like the 14' Finals is the new norm..
just get used to it, jeez....

OP in 2014
A perfect prediction
Lebron is 2-3 in the Finals since then, with no games that compare to the 2 Jordan games from 07' and 12', albiet against weak teams and not in the Finals

Beat a 73 win team in the Finals, in game 5 he had 41/16/7 and in game 6 he had 41/8/11
Not only that, but at age 35 he had a better Finals than any Finals MJ had from '96-'98, he has already proved to be a better player than MJ when both were in their 30's.
"He's nowhere near the level he was at 2007" :oldlol:
Imagine thinking 2014-2020 LeBron isn't better than his 2007 version, you would have to be a complete retard to think that, you were way off, as usual.

There's an area where lebron exceeded Jordan though
Peak regular season advanced boxscore, aka higher peak regular season WS/48 and OBPM, with equal PER (lower VORP)... So a higher peak of combined "big 4" stats (PER/BPM/VORP/WS48) in RS
But you guys don't pay attention to one-off flukes right?... Or stats achieved with weak, unsustainable, unsophisticated brand that gets beat in the playoffs?

Not only that, but his 2018 playoff run was the most dominant individual postseason run since early 00's Shaq, 11 years after 2007. :oldlol:

Jordan averaged 41/9/6 for an entire series (a slower-paced series).. he averaged 48/10/6 for games 2-4... Jordan also averaged 44/6/6 against the goat Celtics and their #1 defense
And btw, my accurate prediction was in 2014, so right before the 3-point contest and spacing took over the league, which made scoring easier than ever before.. yet lebron still went 2-3 in the Finals with weaker stats than Jordan

What happened the next year in 87? The Celtics were injured without Walton, McHale was out for game 3 and MJ shot 42% in the series and got swept, to make matters worse he disappeared in game 3 and was outplayed by Bird in the 4th quarter.

And you went off topic, if we are just going by stats when both players were 31-35, LeBron was simply a better player than MJ come playoff time. '95-'98 MJ never had a postseason as impressive as 2016, 2017, 2018, & 2020 LeBron, not even close.
Pretty funny considering you said LeBron was pretty much past his prime in 2014.

31-35 Lebron.... 0 MVP... 0 all-defense... #10 scorer
31-35 Jordan.... 2 MVP... 5 all-defense... scoring champ
Scoring title + top 5 DPOY > #10 scorer and no defense... :confusedshrug:
Ultimately, old lebron achieved his best stats due to era, just like harden, westbrook and every other wing saw a bump in stats
And lebron almost always had an equal-scoring partner to take defensive attention away and make his stats easier, while mj was the sole focus of the defense for his entire career - kenny smith talks about it here:

Btw, Jordan averaged 36 against the 87' Celtics, which is pretty impressive 1 on 5

Baldan didn't have to because he had better teammates to bail him out.
Meanwhile, bran proved that he was the ultimate carrying machine sans 2020.

Postseason:
'96-'98 MJ - 31/6/4 46 fg%
'16-'20 Bron - 30/10/8 54 fg%
NOT . EVEN . CLOSE
"Bron will never reach his 2007 level"

old MJ was MVP, all-defense and scoring champ > no MVP, no defense, #10 scorer for bron
So old mj was much better than lebron
Btw, i just started posting in 2014 and I was all eye test back then...
i knew very little about stats or how bad lebron was in the 07' playoffs (he was bad - only a horrific conference allows those stats to make the Finals)...
I just remembered lebron's 1 big game and didn't think about the rest of the series and playoffs.. I barely remembered how bad he was in those Finals, or the early rounds, or the remainder of those ECF.
It's funny because I was still destroying guys with my eye test takes (although not that particular one)

That just tells me you are not very bright, everyone knew back then that besides the Pistons series, LeBron wasn't anything special that postseason. The Fact that in 2014 you thought LeBron was in his prime in 2007 and had a great postseason is pretty alarming and pathetic to be honest.

Nah, you're just reaching and changing what I said to divert the thread, because you can't defend your goat (fake goat) or counter the OP
So i don't care either way

MJ losing to Isiah Thomas twice would be like LeBron losing to Jason Terry twice
You lost OP

Just goes to show OP has never known what he's talking about and has been wrong about LeBron going on 2 presidential terms
