All-Star forward Paul George has signed a maximum contract extension with the Los Angeles Clippers that’ll guarantee him as much as $226 million over the next five years, his agent Aaron Mintz of
@CAA_Basketball
tells ESPN.

Hitting the side of backboard when it matters getting cats hundreds of millions these days. :applause:

Lmfao I love it. There are only 2 scenerios here:

1) PG stays and gets paid that much money to be a bum

2) PG is getting traded for some other bum like Harden'

Good to see OP being a drooling retard and bandwagoning between Clippers/Rockets.

I'm happy with it. He's the best sidekick on the market. One bad game in a bubble doesn't change that. Kawhi/George dominated game 5 vs nuggets and got no help. Lebron/Wade also lost their first year together.

You are as big of a clown as OP LMAO!!!!

Bumass PG will be making 50 mill in his final year. Without a doubt will be worse than Wall/Westbrook's contract

Who else was going to be Kawhi's co star? Siakam? Hahhahaha they had 1 bad game in the bubble, relax.

Kawhi and George are like Seth and Evan from superbad. This is the beginning of a dynasty. Only a prison bubble can beat this duo.

And Jordan once got stripped by Mugsy Bogues.

That didn't stop him from getting paid handsomely.

Kawhi\George actually took the series to 7 games though and not just 6 games.

hahahaha exactly

If you think about it, Harden could of been hooked up right now on clippers. He's from LA as well and playing with Kawhi? instead he choose Westbrook wow

They were up 3-1. They got taken to 7 games by inexperienced players when they should've won in 5 or 6.

Westbrook got him paid. You best believe he's not getting paid that coming off this year, Russ took 1 for the team and was scapegoated again even though Dame hit the shot in PG's face. My man russ died for his sins. Now I get to watch Wizards twice a year at MSG :pimp:

LeBron got outscored by Jason Terry when he should of won in 5 or 6.

Also go look back at games 5 and 6 vs nuggets: Kawhi/George both played great. Eventually your stars are going to run into a bad game. Jordan and Pippen would get help from their role players. Kawhi and George got absolutely garbage from role players in game 5 and 6.

Clippers GM isn't nearly as savvy as Krause, who didn't overrate or overpay a defensive player with spotty offense like Pippen

Every single team in the nba would give him a max contract. All of them. Whoever you think runs a team well would have paid George given the chance. As usual internet haters think the real world cares about memes and rehashed points that don’t really factor into basketball evaluation.

Hes not actually a bad player because the internet laughs. All these memes don’t really mean....anything. A shot off the side of the backboard doesn’t really mean anything. His nickname while funny at times doesn’t actually matter either.

Paul George is absolutely a prize to the people trusted to actually make these decisions. Including the ones you would acknowledge know more than you or I do.

Lmao thats not true. Some teams aren't willing to jeopardize their entire future on this bum. Max contracts are fools gold. Only a select few (top 5) really are deserving of a max contract. Lakers would never offer that BUM a max bahahah. WE ABOUT CHAMPIONSHIPS AND CHAMPIONSHIP STARS

50 mill for his final year. The smart organizations would trade this bum while he had value. Not max him and keep him and also trade the whole future away.

I cant believe how much ****ing money these guys make. The NBA was way better in the 80s & 90s for instance than today (by a lot) and those guys were getting peanuts. Out of all major sports, basketball players have the lowest barriers to entry, the longest careers, and make by far the most money. Scrubs are making the salary of 50 doctors combined every year of their contracts. :facepalm

PG did this so that the Clipper organization has to start him , or else their fan base would ask him to be shipped for nothing , and PG would be riding the pine for the Kings..

On another note - would PG excel in a Warrior uni ??
