Not really. Athletes as they get older get more focused on what they consume. See CP3. He will have personal trainers, nutritionists, and personal chefs. Also, a lot of this is boring, quarantined, pandemic weight. He's un-athletic and he's already a top five player in the league within his first 2-3 seasons. He will be fine, hater.

That calorie count is based on him being an athlete working out. The reason why older people get fat is that they are not active anymore and their diet is bad.

Theres tons of studies on this with varying results. Most experts agree though that it's a combination of age, activity and diet. I can tell you from personal experience that as i got older my metabolism definitely slowed a bit. When i was in college i could drink alcohol 4 times a week, eat McDonald's every other day and i still was ripped. Once I got to my thirties that wasn't the case. I am just as active but I cant maintain the same bf% on the same college diet. Had to cut down on the alcohol and had to change my diet.
