ayton averaged more points in his rookie year than Rudy has in his prime

And his defense is coming along. If CP3 says Ayton can be elite on defense, I believe it. Ayton will be a much better center than Rudy once he reaches his prime. Much better.

Ayton should be better. Look where they were drafted. Ayton is the same age Rudy was when he first carried the Jazz from crap to not. A lot more to the game than scoring. Rudy helps you win. Ayton has collected a lot of ping pong balls. Oh but the bubble!

You give Rudy slack bc of the minutes he played and coming off the bench but expect Ayton to carry his team to the playoffs while only playing 30 games LOL. This is absolutely true. Nobody views the Jizz as a serious threat. Theyre in the worst position possible as a franchise where they're paying a mediocre player massive money to never leave the 2nd round. So they get late picks in the draft and they get ****ed early in the playoffs every year. Worst place to be. No man's land.

I genuinely think the jazz are the worst franchise in sports. Irrelevant, boring, mediocre, and they'll never win a title. Worst in sports.

They were trying to lose. Gobert screwed it up. If they trade him, he leaves or he gets hurt you will get your wish. He just became the number free agent next summer. Not sure how he's a dinosaur. Best rim threat in the league. Still the most efficient shot. Rim protection still one of the most important things in the game. Great at both ends.

Rudy isn't good enough to win as a 1st or 2nd option, so he's franchise cancer

Even with Mitchell dropping 30+ on elite efficiency he can't make it out of 1st round as 2nd option

3rd most important person in Jazz history is a cancer! If Mitchell ever has any kind of efficiency they go to another level let alone elite. As it is he's high usage low efficiency one way player. 25 million is a bargain for one of the top players in the league. Who knows where they'd be if they'd kept Millsap instead of trying to tank or Hayward had stayed. They just paid Mitchell super max in the hopes he won't always be the player he is. Not sure why you'd feel bad for me. I've had the pleasure of watching Rudy for the past 6 years. That may be coming to an end but I'd be happy to see him go to a better franchise. Rudy being the 3rs most important player in their history kinda proves my point. The franchise sucks and is synonymous with being perennially mediocre/irrelevant. Teams that lose big have hope for high picks like zion or luka. Teams that pay dinosaurs 40 mil a year (after his upcoming max deal) to lose in the 1st round every year have zero hope, zero appeal, and zero championships forever. Good luck with it though

Crowder opted for a three-year deal with Phoenix worth $29 million instead of a two-year deal with a team option in the second year with Miami. The Heat’s offer to Crowder included a salary for this upcoming season in the $14 million range, according to a league source, and Miami was unwilling to offer more than one guaranteed season because of its desire to retain substantial cap space in the 2021 offseason. Heat officials made it known they wanted Crowder back, but they also made it clear there was a master plan in place for the 2021-22 season and they’re sticking to it, according to the source.

Crowder had expressed his desire to remain with the team. “So I’m going to obviously give it thought on both sides — having security and my comfort with this organization,” he continued. “So, hopefully, it all comes together from both sides. And that’s what I really want to do. “Obviously, I want security,” he told the Sun Sentinel. “The league is an up-and-down league. You never know. I’ve been a part of trades, so I know about security.”

Worst NBA owners, per vote: Vivek Ranadive, Kings, 23.5. Robert Sarver, Suns, 23. James Dolan, Knicks, 21. Josh Harris and David Blitzer, 76ers, 5. Dan Gilbert, Cavaliers, 4. Glen Taylor, Timberwolves, 4 (https://theathletic.com/2261119/2020/12/17/nba-owners-ranked/).

The Suns are finally headed the right way now, with a bedrock of Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton and a big trade for Chris Paul. Our voters were quick to put Sarver on their list, with nearly two decades of poorly run Suns as evidence. “He’s had such a long run at this thing, and he’s always cutting corners,” one executive said. “He’s not willing to spend. Just the little things that players would appreciate.” (https://theathletic.com/2261119/2020/12/17/nba-owners-ranked/)

Once again your reading comprehension fails you. They voted based on his track record, not for current state. “The suns are finally heading in the right direction “ that’s the current state of the Suns. And James Jones is a good GM that has tuned the ship around, as alegrón said a couple of days ago, “my boy JJ is doing a HELL of a job in Phoenix”.

Literally the greatest basketball player ever endorsed the Phoenix Suns. *mic drop*

Gerald Bourguet: Devin Booker was asked what the Suns are capable of. In keeping with Monty’s credo of not getting ahead of themselves, he left it at: “We’ll see.” (https://*********.com/social/)
