He's the only one left from the championship team - him an Delly.

Kind of sad, Tristian finally jumped ship, LeBron, Kyrie, JR, Shump, RJ, Channing, Mozgov - all gone.

At this stage in his career (32 y/o) he probably doesn't want to be stuck on a youth oriented lottery team.

Imagine going from 4 straight epic playoff runs to the finals to now this.

It's a shame really, because Kevin could definitely play an important role on a playoff team.

He's not alone, as dellavedova is still there.

Why should a "superstar" like Kevin Love be depressed about being on a "stacked" team like the Cavs?

Nobody forced him to sign the extension..

If he would be okay with coming off the bench, yeah. (Doubt it)

I could see some fringe playoff team starting him, but he's not a starter on a serious contender with his lack of defense.

If Lebron had never come back to the Cavs, we'd be seeing a Kyrie/Wiggins led team the last five years.

he admitted he was actually depressed when they were winning, but that obviously came with a lot of pressure.

expectations are much lower now and that pressure has probably lightened up as well. where would he rather be? who knows with his state of mind...

I think Love plays to collect a paycheck and enjoys being irrelevant on an irrelevant franchise.

He's probably the happiest he's ever been.

Must not be too depressed. He resigned with them about a month ago for a 1 year minimum.

Who cares. Love knew what he was getting into when he decided to resign with the Cavs.

He lives in Cleveland so he is probably pretty depressed. Fortunately he travels a lot and his house is probably awesome enough that he can forget he is in Cleveland when he's at home.

And lots of vacations/early off season/ he already has a ring/ already put up monster numbers for a few season (although stat padded like Wilt)

I've said for a while that we needed to blow it all up. But they kept several guys and Love is now the last one left. He chose to sign the extension but I'm sure if the deal was right, the Cavs would trade him away. Wouldn't be surprised if it happened this year.
