Just saw this. Can't blame him honestly...take the money and run young blood. He's not even top5 player in the league IMO...season don't matter if you can't do shit in playoffs

He'll get paid nicely. However, I personally don't respect him more just because he decided to stay with a small market (unlike a lot of small market fanboys).
I would have respected him more if he had left to a better situation. Loyalty to one team is incredibly overrated.

Odds Lebron plays another 5 years in the league??

Do you guys realize he just turned 26 and signed a 5 year extension that still has him in line for another max or super max at 31.
He's 6'10 and will improve. Milwaukee isn't a bad situation. Plus, people act like he can't demand a trade in 2-3 years if he really wants to force it.
I knew he wouldn't turn down 220+ million dollars. That's a lot of money. Lebron could afford to turn down super maxes because his endorsements made him more money off court than on court.

Good news, he's not going to Lakers at least. I guess Jrue Holiday sold him on Bucks.
A few years from now if he's not happy, they can trade him for Paul George.

Players are allowed to collude.
I would have respected him more if he had left Milwaukee and joined a better situation. The tears of the small market fanboys would have been glorious. For Giannis' sake I hope that he doesn't feel like he has to stay in Milwaukee for his entire career. Hopefully he stays there because he actually wants to stay there (he doesn't owe the Bucks his entire career).

The Lakers never had enough cap space for LeBron, AD, and Giannis.
If you actually thought that he was gonna end up with the Lakers you are a dumbass.

Fact? Where is your evidence of 90 percent of fans would take Luka? I'll wait.
Harden's not worried about pudgy vanilla pudding Luka. The kid literally just copied all of Harden's moves, Luka just does them much slower. :oldlol:

I disagree. One example is LeBron. He was a Top 5 player in the league before he made his first finals in 2007. Took him less than 3 year to do that.

Tbh his team already has a shot at a championship but coach bud makes them come up short in the postseason each time

Clippers have no other assets like future picks. They traded like 5 1st rounders & 2 pick swaps just to get Paul George and another 1st rounder to get Marcus Morris. :oldlol:
PG alone is not going to be enough to acquire Giannis if they try to. I mean I guess they still have couple 1st rounders they could trade - they would be without a pick until like 2027 or longer.

Their core is set. Giannis Middleton jrue is the only “big 3” in the league but still wonder if it’ll win a title the next few years. Lakers still look better right now

This makes me wonder, if a team falls short in the playoffs, its the organizations fault for not surrounding the player with enough talent. At least from the star players mind.
AkA choker Harden, or Giannis' inability to hit open jumpers. Players should sometimes be more honest with themselves with their shortcomings related to team failures.

Good for him, good for the Bucks and good for the city and the area. Small market teams keeping Top 5 players is a good thing. The Bucks really have no excuse now but to go all in at some point in the next 2-4 years.

KD's move wasn't cowardly at all. Players are allowed to collude (and they should do that). I will always prefer KD and LBJ than Giannis.

Ha. That loyalty came at a price of $228,000,000 - the richest contract in NBA history.
Giannis couldn't get that on any other team and he's not like LeBron where he can afford to turn down full supermax guaranteed money because he makes the majority of his earnings off the court (i.e. Bron's $1b+ contract with Nike [that's billion with a b]).
Good to see him very loyal to his team like Duncan, Dirk.

Not all players prioritize garnering rings. Some are just happy with money but if he ever wins a chip, it would be a great boost to his legacy.
