Really??? It's preseason, they are experimenting with a lot of line ups, poor shooting night. They need to tighten up defensively and gel but I wouldn't put a lot of stock in this preseason game.

they'll probably make the 5th seed again. i can give them that much credit, they are consistent at making the middle of the pack. west just keeps getting stacked every year though. i'm losing hope suns even get a high seed, they might end up fighting for a 7th or 8th seed.

i agree, that's a tougher question to answer. the rockets are an interesting team to watch, depending on the moves they make, they can shift a lot of seeds.

Did you notice the hawks were experimenting with zone defenses tonight? Did you realize they had no point guard in the game the majority of the 2nd quarter? Did you realize how many times they had Gallanari playing the 5 position? DO YOU REALLY THINK THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO DO COME REGULAR SEASON? The Hawks are one of the deepest teams in the EAST and your claiming they will be in the Lottery before the season starts. SMH. Let revisit this thread in a month or two.

The plan is to have him come of the bench but Gallinari will play starter minutes regardless of whether he starts or not.

They looked much more cohesive in the 2nd preseason game against Orlando, but the rotations were completely different. I think they wanted to get some things on film tonight against Memphis since they will meet in the 2nd game of the regular season. I think it will take them a couple of weeks in the regular season to really get rolling but they have a lot of talented players. If they can play decent defense they have enough weapons to make noise.

We have Dunn who is the best defender, and Snell who is good defensively as well. The best line up tonight would have been Trae, Cam, Hunter, Collins, and Capella. Memphis would have had a tough time matching up against our wings and both Cam and Hunter are good defenders.

Reddish is the real deal, don't give up on him yet he is going to make noise soon. Hunter has really looked good this preseason but Cam has been solid with glimpses of greatness with bone headed plays mixed in.

I guess (a la Ingram) similar players as well. Ingram took his sweet time to get where he is. (I guess that was due to LBJ wanting to win now and not wait for player's development). It was the best move for him to get traded to the Pelicans, same for Lonzo too.
