View Full Version : we know for a FACT that Lebron wouldn't win as much with the 90's Bulls because....

his skillset isn't capable of a #1 offense, so the Bulls' juggernaut #1 offense would be pedestrian with Lebron and the team would look underwhelming like all of Lebron's teams
And defensively, the bulls would go from having 2 all-nba defenders to just 1 (lebron hasn't been all-defense in 8 years or in his 30's).. So the defense would suck along with the offense

That's a revealing historical record.
So Lebron couldn't win with the Bulls, whereas Jordan would kill with lebron's teams because lebron had 3 sidekicks with better BPM, PER, WS/48 and VORP than Pippen..
And 89' Jordan beat the #1 SRS and 3 all-stars with a low seed, so he would destroy the #4 SRS Magic and 2 all-stars with a 1 seed (2009)... 1-star teams routinely won the 00's East, so Jordan's 80's squads would fit right in (rather than getting buried in the super-team 80's East)

MJ was shackled to Pippen.

MJ was shackled to Pippen.
Jordan had four #1 offenses with that bum, while Lebron's offenses were FAR inferior despite teammates that significantly out-produced pippen

Pippen won 55 games without Jordan.
Jordan never scratched 55 games without Pippen.
Jordan either missed the playoffs with Pippen, or was barely an 8 seed. :(
Shackled.

Jordan without Pippen produces an offense that wins less than 50 games or makes the 8 seed?
Soft paper puncher without Pippen.

The issue is that Lebron's playstyle is fundamentally incompatible with the big men like Kareem, Shaq, Hakeem, Ewing, etc. Lebron needs big men who could spread the floor and shoot, which was not mainstream in the 80s - 00s. Lebron could still win titles in the 90s, if the bad boy Pistons could, but no more than 2-3.

If LeBron had peak Shaq for 8 years, Magic's Lakers for 10 years. He would win all the rings.

Are you kidding me Lebron in the 90's would be a mix of Malone and Magic with a three-point shot hell Lebron would be one of the best shooters in the entire 90's if you took him back to that era.
And also the rules of the 1990's favour Lebron so much more than nowadays Illegal defence ensures that Lebron would be unstoppable on offence and hand-checking means that Lebron is going to be even better on defence and win many Dpoy as he would be far the best wing defender in the Nba throughout the 1990s.
Lebron would own the 1990's so hard it would be a joke with the lack of wing defenders that can even challenge him in the Nba if you put Ehlo on him Like they did with Jordan Lebron is going to seriously average 50 to 60 points a game.

What are you smoking at? Lebron as a shooter? :oldlol:
Lets be honest bro, Lebron is never a good shooter, his shooting capability is below league average. Despite the fact that Lebron is way ahead of Kobe on all time ranking, Lebron truly misses Kobe's mid/long range shot skill. If Lebron had Kobe's shots, he would be as good as MJ.

It is the same for Durant
If you put Durant in the 1980's and 1990's due to the rules of the time allowing him to virtually play iso all the time with the illegal defence rule then Durant is going to average an easy 40 points a game and also with the short three-point line Durant's shooting would mean that good God it would be a massacre every single game.
Can you picture the sheer mayhem a player of Durant's skill set would unleash in the 1990's and 1980's hell if Durant played during those two eras they would have been calling him a god and the goat over Jordan Bird and Magic?

Lebron can pull up from 30 feet and nail threes from there and also is a far better long-range shooter than Jordan ever was and with a short three-point line some seasons during the 1990's Lebron would nail 3 to 5 threes a game and average about 37 points 11 rebounds 8 assists 2 steals and 1.5 blocks a game on about 40 percent from three and 57 to 59 percent from the field.

You mean Lebron if he time-travelled to an era with much lower pace and much lower league average TS% would average 9 points more per game than he does now on 8% higher efficiency? Yea that seems likely... :facepalm

^^^ lies
Lebron doesn't "pull-up"... He literally takes a flat-footed shot (beginner-level jumpshooting skill) that's wide open after the defender is lulled to sleep
94% of lebron's jumpers are uncontested - he avoids contested jumpers - he has weak jumpshooting skill compared to goat jumpshooters mj and kobe... Night and day

JR Smith in 15' ECF............. 18/8
Robert Horry in 94' Finals.... 18/10
^^^^ that's Pippen level production
So Jordan would win more with bigger-producing sidekicks than JR Smith or Robert Horry level guys - he'd win more with bigger-producers like AD, Wade or Kyrie that have higher PER, WS/48, VORP, OBPM and efficiency than Pippen

He'd win more without them and a better sidekick than pippen
you forget that Pippen averaged 12 on 42% against the 88-90' Pistons, so anyone else would've 3-peated with MJ during that time
Replace young pippen with FMVP and "Piston-killer" Worthy and Jordan 4-peats from 88-91'
madonna preferred pippen. she saw how pippen led the bulls to 55-wins while baldan was busy scrubbing it up in the minor leagues. :lol

5 things
-Jordan is the one responsible for Scottie's development
-L46ron can't play off the ball
-Scottie was a role player
-Jordan won in 91 & 98 without an all-star
-L46ron never made anyone better in his career
