Because he's not the left.

And he's less authoritarian Hitler-like than the other option. It used to be the right that used morality and religion to control the masses. It's now the fear mongering left that uses every excuse to mold citizens with behavior modification to their liking.

How many wars has Trump got/kept us into? How many overbearing government mandates has he insisted regular citizens follow?

We follow truth. We follow people who tell it like it is and don't obfuscate like typical politicians do.

Only non-insider to ever make it. Doesn't hoard "campaign donations". Doesn't start wars. (preaches against them in fact) Focuses on economy and growth. Master work ethic and high energy. Extremely disciplined and on the ball. Super quick, reflexive mind. But most importantly... tells it like it is instead of bullshitting everybody with smiles and lies like most politicians do.

Because Trump appeals to folks with fascist/authoritarian tendencies, folks with daddy issues, folks who are uneducated, folks who are easy to manipulate (mainly conservatives), folks with woke derangement syndrome, folks who love The Apprentice way too much, folks who are suckers for con artists, folks who misguidedly think that the Republican Party is always right, folks who are suckers for conspiracy theories, folks who would love to see America get destroyed so that Trump can win, and folks who love to blame others for their shortcomings.

Trumpism is a mental illness.

Can't blame Americans for voting Trump. I mean after 8 years of that idiot Bush and 8 years of Crooked Obama...any nation could get mind****ed in to voting for a guy in a wig and fake tan.:lol

Because he's America-first and not a globalist swamp turd. Because he stands up to the woke mob and promotes traditional American values and reverence for our history. It doesn't matter if he doesn't personally believe in all of that; its the position he takes and that's what matters.

He also headed one hell of an economy, didn't start any wars, brokered peace in the Middle East. But hey, dont worry about all that. Just keep repeating "Orange Man Bad!"

I wonder if there'll be a vaccine for TDS. No, hopefully its a terminal condition.

Follow or vote? If you want specifics then ask but I'll try to summarize.

Follow: Because he's charismatic and in a cancerous cesspool filled with career politicians that don't inspire hope, he does. Hope of something different. At least he did in 2016. It's changed a bit now. Now instead of that fresh face of hope it's more about rooting for the guy who's had to endure the opposition waging war on him his whole administration.

Vote: This one's easy. He pushes sound conservative policy for the most part(we didn't know that in 2016 but we do now). Though his rhetoric may be unsavory to some it doesn't bother those who believe in "not listening to what a politician says but what he does". He has actually tried some interesting ideas whether they worked out or not.

Though he's definitely America first and almost certainly not a traditional globalist, most of this other stuff is fantasy and people buying into memes. But a significant portion of his voting bloc does buy this narrative. Those people really are irrational. But one doesn't need to be irrational or unreasonable to support Trump. There are several logical reasons to do so.

I hope this helps OP but I know that at this point there aren't really any people on the fence about Trump. So this fall on deaf ears. I guess it's only fair since I didn't watch those videos either.

I wish people could read my mind, else most gets lost in writing.

A lot of what he said is true. Not just about people who follow Hitler, but really most politicians.

Hitler in my mind was a true weak minded person who needed to be part of a group, who was very passionate and could express that passion very well. There's a hardcore right wing website that I sometimes go to and to me it's Hitler. Hitler is exactly like these people. Just a very weak individual who needs to scapegoat all of his failures, blame others.

On the other side you have Trump. An abnormally strong minded, high IQ guy, whose goal truly is for everyone to win. He wants all groups within America to win, and in doing so leading to prosperity. He even wants other countries to win, so long as it's not at the expense of America.

Very simplistic explanation.

People are tired of the bullshit so they vote Trump.

It's too bad Trump only helps keep the bullshit going.

The dude literally has had us in a 280-day (and counting) National State of Emergency, for a virus that hospitalizes less than flu, pumping out TRILLIONS of dollars to keep it going. And during the remaining days of this charade, he talks nonstop about his ability to fast track a big pharma vaccine for whom he gave billions to. :facepalm

Do you feel the above highlighted area is Trump now protesting that the vote was fraudulent when his lawyers in court have never stated this ??
Similarities of dictatorship Hitler and Trump look very parallel , if not how come he did not get the vote for a second term ?
By the way Satan you always make me smile !!

Of course not. I see a very highly self aware individual, carefully choosing his words to best plead his case. For things to proceed best as possible for him.

You have a very negative view of Trump, and probably listen to places like CNN to the T. With their words being absolute truth, with authority, nothing to be question. So no matter what you're going to see Trump as a person who lost a sprint by 5 seconds and refuses to accept the result. To you it's absolutely insane the idea that there was voter fraud. So you're never going to comprehend how obvious it is to others (including some Democrats) that something fishy was up.

You will never be able to see certain things objectively when it comes to Trump (like the few Democrats that I mentioned) because as you said in some post, nobody dislikes Trump more than you. Your brain is tainted.

It's a shame because you have a Jordan avatar.

Doesn't hoard campaign donations? How about 60% of his defense fund sending money his way? Guy is a con-artist. Good riddance.

The non-insider charm would be nice if he wasn't part of the same clique both Clintons are for example. He ran with that as the main reason to vote for him, but did he drain the swamp? Not really. He brought nepotism within the WH to a new level. He made his term the DC's version Kadashians. Grabbing cash for his family left and right, while he acted like some saintly dude, because he donated his presidential salary.

If you want an outsider take some young politician, who came from empoverished roots who made himself successful without going through his parties chores.

Trump was born within the establishment and never even left it for one day. Thinking he cares for the problems his spindoctors make him talk about is dillusional, he can't relate to the normal american's. The only reason they believe so is his proletarian way of speaking.

Trump tells his followers what they want to hear. It doesn't matter to them that he's lying most of the time. It's easy to get away with a lie if the person you're telling it to wants to believe it.

And when his followers hear something they don't want to believe, they just wave the hand and label it "Fake News". No need to investigate, no need to defend, no need to even think about it any more, it's fake news.
